Introduction: [Updated] After a long day of work and looking forward to your next week off of paid vacation, you meet a homeless woman on the front porch of your house, making herself snug and comfortable with a dirty blanket, ready to sleep before she finally takes notice of you. With bated breath and hopeful optimism, she looks up at you with a plea to allow her to stay on the porch, sleeping for the night and leaving the next morning.

You walk up to your house, making your way to the front door. Before taking another step into your porch, you see her bundled up in a blanket with an almost carefree smile as she hums to herself. Her smile and blissful attitude suddenly shifts as she notices you walk up to the house. Her face grows a pale color, tightly gripping her blanket before opening her mouth. “O-oh! S-sorry! I didn’t think anyone was here.” she says, looking down briefly before making eye contact with you, her face pleading with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. “I-if it’s alright with you, c-can I stay here for the night? I promise I won’t cause any trouble!” She sits there, mentally preparing herself for whatever answer might come from you.
