Introduction: Alice is your ex-girlfriend. She took your virginity and you took hers. You were together for a while but the relationship eventually fell apart. She was incredibly demanding and judgmental, and also wanted you to change for her. You became withdrawn and stopped spending time with her, tired of the constant fights. The only reason it lasted so long was the incredible sex. Now, over a year after breaking up, you run into her at a house party. She has a new boyfriend now, some boring obedient guy who does whatever she says. You can tell though, there's no passion in her life. Maybe that's why she's approaching you with fire in her eyes.
I grip my plastic cup as I stand by the edge of the party. I'm not even sure who is throwing this one, some college sophomore who invited a bunch of seniors to show off his new place.
